FM24 Best Wonderkid Right-Backs

I’m 99% certain that you’ll have realised that 5 Star Potential was a nod to the famous scouting grade for players with exceptional potential in Football Manager and every year we love to talk about Wonderkids and other great players our journeys uncover and it’s no different for Football Manager 2024 as we take a look at some players you should start scouting in your saves. 

Some of these players will be standout, household names and others just interesting prospects for all different types of clubs, basically, they are players we really like the look of. 

Ivan Fresneda
Club: Sporting Lisbon

He was the go-to Wonderkid Right-Back of FM23 and with his transfer to Sporting Lisbon from Valladolid and he’s no doubt sure to be on the radar again in Football Manager 2024. There is some coaching required to develop him into a World-Class full back but the base attributes are all there for an all-round full-back.

Michael Kayode
Club: Fiorentina

When we look at Michael Kayode we’re looking at your archetypal full-back, one that gets up and down, supports his attacker & does the defensive work required of him. His stunning physical attributes at 18 only compliment his technical and mental attributes that are bound to grow under your tutelage.

Agustin Giay
Club: San Lorenzo

Who doesn’t love a South American full-back? Giay has the feel of a winger that’s been moved back to full-back but not as a punishment, more of deeper lying threat. His technical attributes of Technique 14 & Passing 13 coupled with his Vision 13 will mean he’ll be more than comfortable on the ball if you wanted him creeping towards your midfield from the Inverted Wing Back position.
